To start with Starbucks they have 33,160,229 visits on their page and 36,554,643 likes in total i.e. 62,284 weekly averages as per Facebook. Whereas for second cup there are just few number of people that likes their page i.e. 100,835. On a weekly basis there are just 69 people that like their page as compared to Starbucks they fall behind. Starbucks has their own Canadian Starbucks official page even though they are located worldwide. There is a big difference in both of the brands, their strategies and their customers. Both of the brands are popular in Canada among millennial’s and baby boomers. 
Starbucks is the most flattering coffee store all over Canada, that is loved by every generation and attracting more customers day by day. They have more than 3 million people who visit their facebook page. Their page is smart, loyal, trust worthy and customers are genuinely attracted towards their post. They are very much active on their page, every new addition to the family, their best employees and customers, every new festive food item or coffee is kind of launched their first. They have an amazing taste of colors on their page which attracts more people. They shared a love story on valentines of one of their employee and customer, in short they support relationships. They’ve got their contests and winners wins prizes.
Second cup is also the famous store in just Canada, people love it, as it is the domestic brand. Second cup was originated in 1975 and in Mississauga Ontario so people of Ontario are more towards second cup than any other store. They have a completely different strategy from starbucks, they do not promote their products by giving discounts, and they promote their products by sharing their customer’s pictures holding their coffee or breakfast, or smoothie. They win a lot of hearts by using this strategy. On the occasion of valentine they even helped a customer to propose a girl for marriage. Tow in customers hearts they go out of the way which is why they do have a lot of loyal customers. They do online facebook contests and gifts for the customer who wins.
